Our 100% Natural Cotton Batting is now a thicker 220gsm and is an ideal choice for quilt batting, dressmaking, craft or hobby projects. It provides warmth and adds bulk to your projects. Suitable for quilting up to 4"(10cm) apart.

generally you will only need the width of your quilt and have some left over , useful for smaller projects

Directions

Pre Washing & Shrinkage

Shrinkage of 4 - 8% can be expected. Pre washing is advisable for a flat smooth finish to the quilt. 

Pre wash wadding by hand only. 

Use Cool water and mild detergent, soak for 15 minutes, squeeze out excess moisture by rolling in a dry towel. 

Dry naturally by laying flat.

If not pre washed and pre shrunk, a pretty antique/ruffled finish to the quilt will result after washing. 

Care & Wash Instructions:

1. Machine wash quilts with a mild detergent or specialty quilt wash on a gentle cycle
2. Machine spin on a medium cycle to remove excess water
3. Allow to dry flat in shade.
4. For an antique look to your quilt, tumble dry on a warm cycle to cause batting to shrink.
