Fabric Fixation
Fabric Fixation is modern quality quilting and craft fabrics and accessories. We love colour, lots of colour and patterns, novelty and contemporary designs, with an ever increasing range of beautiful fabrics and products.
We recommend washing all new fabrics before using them to ensure that there will be no uneven shrinkage.
It is important before making a quilt, to prewash to avoid shrinkage and to ensure there will be no bleeding colours when the finished quilt is washed.
Wash light coloured fabrics in lukewarm or cold water.
Soak dark coloured fabrics individually in cold water for at least half an hour to set dyes. Machine wash in cold water.
WARNING Do NOT use Oxiclean to soak any fabrics with a metallic finish or details, as this may dissolve the print and fabric underneath
