If you've ever had a plastic sewing clip crack at a crucial moment - mid-EPP session, halfway through binding a quilt - you'll understand exactly why these exist. SOHMO Mini Clips are made from stainless steel. They don't crack. They don't snap under tension. They don't warp in the heat of an Australian summer. They just work, session after session, year after year.
At 30mm these are the smaller size - designed for the precise, delicate work that the larger 55mm clips are too unwieldy for. English paper piecing is the primary use case: holding basted hexagons or other EPP shapes together while you whipstitch, keeping edges aligned without the bulk of a larger clip. They're equally at home securing quilt binding, holding seams for bag making, gripping the edges of vinyl, leather, or laminated fabric that can't be pinned, or keeping any small section of fabric in place while you sew.
The soft spring action means they open and close easily through long EPP or binding sessions without tiring the hand - a genuine advantage over stiffer plastic clips. The easy-grip shape sits comfortably between thumb and forefinger for fast, one-handed placement.
